My Very First Smash Pages

I haven't journalled on these pages and probably won't as I have future pages planned that will contain plenty of journalling.

The "cake" picture on the front page wasn't in keeping with the theme of this journal, so I covered it up with a stamped image that I'd stamped out and coloured years ago and yet had done nothing with.  So now it's put to good use.

This page has been a great way of using up papers that I've had for donkey's ages and done nothing with.  Also I couldn't wait to get in and use that Camera Washi Tape.  Love it.

Inside the Pink "Pretty" Smash Book

Oh it's gorgeous!!  Love it.  (I sincerely hope it's okay to post these pages.  If it's not do tell me and I shall delete this posting).

My First SMASH Is Here!!!

Yay!  Oh the excitement!!  I got my very first Smash order from OhMyCrafts.com (fabulous service).  I'm absolutely thrilled with it.  It goes far and beyond my expectations and I can not wait to get started with it.  If you're on the fence about getting a EK Success - K & Company Smash Book... don't be.  The paper quality is lovely and sturdy and the book is just the right size for keeping all those little bits and pieces that we accumulate and then don't know what on earth to do with.

So here is my little haul that arrived today.  The Pink "Pretty" Smash Folio, Black Smash Tape and the Travel Smash Pad.

This is with a regular BIC Ballpoint Pen to give you and indication of the Books size.

Inside My Midori Travelers Notebook

As I just could not wait for my Midori to arrive, I got busy and made my own insert for it out of regular old A4 and a Manilla Folder and then stitched it all together.  I covered the folder in scrapbook paper and then got to work on being arty on the inside.

The cover of my self-made insert.  The deck shown in the background is The Pamela Colman Smith Commemorative Set.

Working on the inside page.  Stamps are by Hero Arts and the Tarot Deck is the Tarot of Prague by Baba Studio.

This is a fold out I made from Basic Grey paper to hold photos I want hidden.  Stamps shown are by Hero Arts.
